Couple Killed in the Motorcycle Accident

Saturday, May 23, 2020, A couple was killed in Paulding county when their motorcycle was struck from behind, the impact sent their Harley-Davidson into oncoming traffic. The crash occurred on Georgia 101 near the Union Community and the Carroll County line shortly before 9 p.m., authorities said. 

Investigators believe Allynda Jackson of Villa Rica was driving southbound when she hit the motorcycle, which was stopped and attempting a left turn onto Harmony Road, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Upon impact the Harley-Davidson was pushed into the path of another motorcycle, a Honda Shadow that was traveling northbound on Georgia 101, the accident report stated. Neither Jackson nor the driver of the Honda, Aren Roland of Roopville, were seriously injured.
