Eleven people were involved in a tragic, fiery car accident that left one dead and ten others injured in Clayton County Saturday morning.
The crash happened on Tara Boulevard off of Old Dixie Road, where according to witnesses, a driver ran through a red traffic light, initiating the fatal four-car crash. The driver’s car caught on fire after crashing into another vehicle.
Two children in the burning car were saved with the help of good samaritans who worked nearby the accident. The children suffered burns, and 10 others were sent to the hospitals. Unfortunately, the driver who initially ran the red light did not survive the car crash.
